Welcome to Aim High Academy Trust

It is a privilege to serve as Chief Executive Officer of a Trust that is deeply committed to the children, families and communities we serve.

Aim High Academy Trust is built on a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves an exceptional education, a strong sense of belonging and the opportunity to flourish, regardless of their starting point or individual circumstances. Across our family of schools, we are united by a shared ambition to ensure that every child is known, valued and supported to achieve their full potential.

Our Trust comprises Dubmire Primary Academy, Newbottle Primary Academy and Gillas Lane Primary Academy; three schools with their own unique identities, histories and strengths, but with a collective commitment to high standards, inclusion and continuous improvement. Together, we work collaboratively to share expertise, develop our staff and provide the very best educational experiences for the children in our care.

As a Trust, inclusion sits at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every child belongs and that every teacher has a responsibility to ensure all pupils can access ambitious learning. Through high-quality teaching, adaptive practice and strong partnerships with families, we strive to remove barriers, nurture confidence and create opportunities for all children to succeed.

We are equally committed to developing our staff. We know that excellent schools are built by excellent people. Through coaching, professional collaboration, leadership development and evidence-informed practice, we invest in our colleagues so that they can continue to make a positive and lasting difference to children's lives.

Our vision for the future is ambitious. We want every pupil across Aim High Academy Trust to experience an inspiring curriculum, outstanding teaching, rich opportunities beyond the classroom and the support they need to thrive both academically and personally. We will continue to strengthen collaboration across our schools, champion inclusive practice and ensure that every decision we make is guided by what is best for children.

Whether you are a parent, pupil, member of staff, governor or visitor to our website, thank you for taking the time to learn more about our Trust. We are proud of what we have achieved together and excited about the future.

Together, we will continue to Aim High for every child, every day.
